Maui Sunset B418

This place was perfect for our family of five, with young adults and grade school kids. We had plenty of space, linens, kitchen supplies, etc. Having the beach chairs, boogie boards, and coolers made visiting multiple beaches so convenient. The grounds and pool were pristine and the teens enjoyed having space to roam and things to do like pickle ball and croquet. It's a great spot to SUP; I saw sea turtles, manta, an urchin, and a sea cucumber; gentle wave breaks to the south, windy in the afternoon with several windsurfers. Kihei has good food options and groceries; we loved walking to Nalu's for breakfast and happy hour. Location was great for visiting various beaches including Makena State Park as well as doing the reverse Hana road trip. We also took surf lessons at Kihei and at Ukeheme. Sunsets, and surprisingly sunrises, were beautiful from the balcony or beach. The way this building is laid out, everyone has an ocean-facing view from their balcony and you can see the sun come up over peak of the mountain. Staff were friendly and helpful ann the entire place was very clean. Laundry and kitchen appliances are full size and worked well.

We've stayed at the Maui Sunset many times over the years and in fact own 4 weeks of interval ownership in March. We stayed in the B Building this time and the unit was nicely kept and clean. The only annoying thing was several of the doors stuck/rubbed and some would swing partially open, which was frustraing. Otherwise, very satisfied. The B building is great if you'd rather not have direct sun on the lanai.

The place was perfect as it always is. Pool is clean, barbecue is clean and the lawn is well manicured and perfect for family and kids. I loved the live performance that they had on the lawn while we were staying there.

Maui Sunset is a Beautiful property and the location is great.
Our condo was spacious, well cleaned and kept, equipped with everything we needed for our stay. We felt at home and comfortable. I can’t say enough about the staff, so hardworking, friendly and helpful.
We look forward to our next visit.
